Meetinghouse Pond to Kent’s Point. Barley Neck Landing near 69 Barley Neck Rd, Orleans. 1100 launch (1251 Pleasant Bay low). GPS coordinates: 41.4647, -69.5742. Stop at Kent’s Point to stretch and picnic. Return paddle after 1400. Alternate weather date, 14 August (Saturday). 1130 launch (1339 Pleasant Bay low). Return paddle after 1430.

Paddle Rendezvous: Allow time to unload and launch promptly. It’s important to sign up with Joan and Evan Croft for updates, especially due to weather-related schedule changes: CapeRedhouse@comcast.net. Be prepared: Wear a lifejacket and tie on a whistle. Stow a bailer and tow rope. Bring a lunch and/or snack, sunscreen, hat, enough water or other beverage for hydration, beach towel for picnic, etc. You may bring something to share.

We get requests for weekday and weekend paddles to accommodate those with different work schedules. We do our best to mix it up. Scheduled dates and launch times are governed by the tides. We plan optimal launch times that aren’t too early and return times that aren’t late. We hope all of our paddling enthusiasts will find options that fit their busy lives. Guests of members are welcome.
