11 July Paddle (Saturday)

Meeting House Pond to Kent’s Point. Launch at 1100, Barley Neck Landing, near 69 Barley Neck Rd, Orleans. GPS coordinates 41° 46’ 47.6292” N 69° 57’ 42.93” W. Allow time to unload and launch promptly. Stop at Kent’s Point to stretch and picnic. Return paddle after 1400. Alternate weather date, 12 July.

Be prepared with safety equipment: Wear a lifejacket and tie on a whistle, stow a bailer and tow rope. Bring a snack or lunch, sunscreen, hat, enough water or other beverage for hydration, beach towel for picnic, etc. Do not bring something to share due to COVID-19.
Paddling is a great on-the-water physical distancing opportunity while visiting with club friends during COVID-19 restrictions. Following CDC guidelines, if you know you have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 or have symptoms, do not participate.
IMPORTANT: Sign up early in case we need to limit the number of paddlers, for updates in the event of a weather schedule change to 12 July, and to let paddle leaders Erika Kraft and John Crawford know to expect you.
